About downtown

Downtown Evansville offers a myriad of architechtual styles and time periods in its buildings. This guide serves to highlight some of the more notable and beautiful examples still standing. From those currently undergoing renovation, such as the McCurdy Hotel and the Owen Block, to those still operating in the same way as they were on opening day, such as the Courthouse, Downtown has a lot to offer for fans of architecture and Evansville history.
